Imprisonment

Imprisonment

A Story by ame_incassable
"

Locked up by temptation, sin, expectations, etc. Trying get out of it, but wanting to leave my Home and stay locked away in this world of sin instead of Home with my Father and my Savior.

"

Locked inside the world's prison.
Bound by the shackles of my fears
Held captive by the sea,
the tides roll in and out like my thoughts
And the desparate attempts to walk away.
Sitting not in silence
The screaming conumes me.
I'm trapped, locked inside.
I am to blame.
I can hear your screams carrying down the hall.
I wait quietly for you to come get me, but you don't move.
Locked in this prison, in this hell,
I am the prisoner.
A prisoner for a long day
bound by the shackles of my fears.
The tides roll in and out
like my thoughts
And desperate attempts to find my way back Home.
