Trapped

Trapped

A Poem by ame_incassable

Get out, get out
Lock the door
help, help, help
they don't hear her screams anymore
Bending and breaking
body left black and blue
what will it take
this never ended "soon"
Hands all over
body numb
trapped deep inside
finally to the pain, succumb
drip drip
leaky faucet echoing
but each and every sound
to her is barreling
Slow the breathing almost to a halt
No one ever understands its
but it's always her fault
drag the blade, one last time
everything goes red, then goes dark
peaceful sleep and she will be fine

Not too bad. I think you could do with a bit more dynamic of an ending - as it stands it's a little passive for my tastes, and it makes the piece come across as a static retelling of events with no real development or intrigue.
