Blackened

Blackened

A Poem by ame_incassable

Lights blink and each second gets slower
Fear sets in; when is it going to end?
Darling you're mine, forever mine you'll stay.
Believe me when I say, you won't get much further.

Tie me up, bring me down.
Black and blue, ringing in my ears.
In and out - and screams over come.

You can't save me, we all have tried.
Why don't you just give up?
Bound forevermore, soul lost in time.
Trust me darling you won't get much further than the last.

Trapped away, locked, cold, and distant.
Broken and defeated, heart fading fast.
Pulse slowing fades, and the silence is becoming.

Silence is becoming
in the dark, no screaming
oh, in the dark
silence has begun
she is free.
