Turn the page

leaving the past in the past. :)

I have all these memories
Those thoughts swirling in my head
It's only the truth I seek
Each night as I lay awake in my bed

After all lose long nights
And numbing with the pills and booze
I prepare myself for the fights
And that blame game, a lit fuse

Here I am, and the thoughts remain
But I can stand on my feet
I only need God now to keep me sane,
Yeah, he's my rock when I feel beat.

All I need is redemption, a little grace & love
From our Father up above
My life has been rearranged
Because of Him I have turned the page.
