Between the Words

Between the Words

A Poem by Christoph Poe

LET

Something break

US

Apart from nature's wonders.

RUN

To an unforgivable place

ON

The brink of extinction.

AN

Undeniable series of events,

INFINITE

Thrills leading us on this devastating

JOURNEY

To a new world.

Just a quick note: there is a reason for those certain words to be capitalized. Read them by theirselves. Thanks for checking this out! :)

Thank you kindly! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it. :)
Love that you can read this in two ways as two separate poems or just one combined piece, beautiful. To new beginnings and new adventures.. good or bad.. looking forward to what the future has in store.

Oh, I am very impressed by the unique style of presenting your poem. Are the capitalized ones supposed to be the ending? They are really thought-provoking in a sense that it displays the same meaning but breaks it into two uniting pieces. This is really good!

This is very interesting. I noticed right away that the capitalized words had some meaning, but it took me a moment to piece it together. I love that it works more than one way, and especially love that each way works so well. You did a great job with this. I love finding something different, and this is just that. Nicely done. x

I love it I love how you left one word in the center of each line to leave an obvious message. "Let us run on an infinite journey"
