Telly Visions

Telly Visions

A Poem by Cee. Es.
"

I love my junk food and theres no better way to have it than while being a couch potato.. unfortunately..

"
Turned on the telly
And it popped into my brain
Made my mind a mess of jelly
Lost but not insane
Read the TV
As it told me what to do
Subconscious trickles to my tummy
Told me that I wanted food
So I climbed out of my sofa
Sat so long my seat stayed there
And I went off to the kitchen
Opened the fridge without a care
But what I needed wasn’t in there
So I stood there all confused
Till flashing visions
Of fried chicken
Gave me some more clues
Got into my car
Had to answer Colonels call
Drove but a block before I saw it
The KFC sign was tall
Easy entry was the drive-through
Made my life a piece of cake
And as I drove home
I decided I deserved a little break
So I laid back in the sofa
Remote at my dispense
Flicked on
And oh my god
I forgot I needed Lays
