A Poem by Christina Elena.

I'm keeping myself in

Inside the glass walls

Savor every echo, now there's glass between us

There are all sounds between us, now

There you are, on the other side

A diamond in a coal mine

A diamond I may never call mine

Shatter it! Shatter this!, I chanted

Am I burdened for achknowledging

What they seem to take for granted?

Why so BLIND? You're so sheepish

I want to shatter you.

And gather you into my hands.

Let us rupture

One another, my lover

Let us echo our cries within this glass

And force it to crack

And revel in the destruction

And become marvelled by each shard

And sweep away broken pieces

There you are, inside the glass

Encompassed with me...
