The darkness

The darkness

pulls me under.

I have no

hope.

You pulled my

world out

from beneath my feet.

What I said

I meant.

I thought the same

went for your words.

But they were

nothing.

Trickery and thievery.

You have wrenched

my heart from my chest.

Now I lay here

bleeding.

Completely unfeeling.

I am numbed

by the extremity

of this pain.

I feel as though

I have nothing and

nobody left to turn to.

You were my refuge

in you I found

love and hope.

Or so I thought.

You have destroyed

any traces of trust

I had left

for the world.

Now it seems

like such a

cold and unfeeling place.

There is no hope.

There is nothing but

pain and misery here in

this life.

Everyone seeks for

revenge and what it was

that they lost in the

first place.

But nobody gets

what it is they want.

And I am the same.

I will never get

you back,

nor will I ever take revenge.
