I Love Lucy, TooA Poem by Christina May ShanabergSomething that has been racing around in my head, for years, a take on the "I Love Lucy Theme Song" by Desi Arnaz.THE FARMER DESI ARNAZ
I love Lucy and she loves me. I love Lucy, who always stands beside me. We're as happy as two can be. We're as close as two can be. Sometimes we quarrel, but then Eye to eye we don't always see, but then How we love making up again. That sweet old girl befriends me, again. Lucy kisses like no one can. Lucy obeys like no woman can. She's my misses and I'm her man. She's my friend and I'm her man. And, life is heaven, you see, Our lives are heavenly, you see, 'Cause I love Lucy; yes, I love Lucy Because I really love old Lucy And Lucy loves me. And I believe that Lucy loves me.
Love is a light that shines forever, Their love light will shine forever! Even between a dog and a farmer.
Love comes in many packages, because man is meant to love and be loved!
