The Fire that has Burned, For Ten Years
There was a fire, Ten years ago And it still burns, today; It burned a city so deeply That millions cried, in the street, In a city that never sleeps.
There was a fire, Ten years ago And it still burns, today; It burned a country so deeply That millions cried, in the street, Awoken from their sleep.
There was a fire, Ten years ago And it still burns, today; It burned me so deeply That I cried millions of tears, Awaken from my sleep.
There was a fire, Ten years ago And it still burns, today; It burned our hearts so deeply That it lit up every street, Awaken from our sleep.
