Flower in the WindA Poem by Christina May ShanabergHow beautiful they are!
Flower in the Wind
I wish that I could remember The first time that I saw you; Was it in the chill of September Or in May, with skies so blue; I see you, now, and love you; So colorful and, oh, so alive; I would like to flutter with you And soar above or take a dive; When did I see you, at first; You were a flower in the wind, Making my loving heart burst Just at the sight of you, friend; You are a colorful delight, As you fly, flittering, by; Where do you hide at night, You gorgeous little butterfly.
