Angels Crying

Angels Crying

Just something I feel, when it's raining!

ANGEL'S CRYING

Why so much rain;

Why so much pain;

Could it be angels crying,

Because our world is dying?!

I know it's short and sweet; however, I think I said it all!

Yes, that's me at about age 12!! I was writing back then, too!!!

A beautiful poem. Remind me of a Ojibwa poem I have read. Hard to understand the ways of this world. The Angels must be crying for the misery and sadness of a world running toward death. Thank you for a excellent poem.

Short, simple but really beautiful. I feel this way too when it rains. I've wondered if the angels are crying for it to rain so much.. its a wonderful poem for you to write when you were only 12! Nicely done.

This is wonderful. At 12, you had an idea of what poetry was:)

It could well be the case because we are giving them good reason with our careless behaviour and attitude to our planet.

The reinforces the thought of age being just a number. So young and still your writing was so strong.

Without rain we'd dry up and die of dehydration ~ burn up from to much sun and never experience the visual delight of rainbows...I also never like to cry or see someone in pain, somehow its necessary :(

Short, sweet, and to the point. Sometimes everything can be expressed in just a few simple words. Longer is not always better! Very powerful thoughts...

My kind of poem. Short but says it all. Thank you! I love the picture of you at age twelve & I remember besides music you were a very good writer even then.

Yes, angels have much to cry
about today, and you have said it
all. Very short, but intense and
beautiful.
Thank you,
