![]() RainA Poem by Christina May Shanaberg![]() A compliment to the poem "Snow!"![]() RAIN
The rain had gone away And left its puddles lay, Glistening pink, in evening sun; A mini-lake for everyone; The clouds had blown east And returned the world to peace; Oh, lightning and thunder, How they love to wander; Raindrops cling to the grass And travel invisible trails, on windowglass; Mist steaming, back into the sky, Leaving the road, again, so dry; It helps everything live and grow; But, perhaps, next visit it will be snow. © 2010 Christina May ShanabergFeatured Review
