A Poem by Christina May Shanaberg

SHARE

Powerful words, unrecorded,

     May be explanations from God,

          Which will never be heard.

Beautiful, unplayed, symphonies

Are testimonies to God's earthly gifts,

That shall not soothe tortured souls.

Brilliant art, uncreated,

Can be monuments of God's love,

Which will not touch our hearts.

I read this whilst looking for inspiration, and the last word, the very last sentiment gave me all I need. Thank you for writing this.
