Good Morning, SongbirdA Poem by Christina May ShanabergFor all the birds whom have sang to me!GOOD MORNING, SONGBIRD
Good morning, Songbird; The night bird has stopped calling, Awaiting the happy words Awakening in your sunny song.
Love is alive, in your tune, And the promise of another day; Our time passes, all too soon, But the beauty you make will stay.
Music is not all you create; You give peace to the earth; The simple becomes the great; Your song has untold worth.
Good morning, Songbird, At the first light of dawn; Like a dream, I once heard, And my mind dwelt upon.
I will remember you, always, Holding your song in my heart; We share only special days, That linger when we part.
Night is no longer dark, Nor being alone lonely; In silence and memory, hark, A sweet songbird's symphony. © 2010 Christina May ShanabergFeatured Review
