A Christmas PsalmA Poem by Christina May ShanabergWritten along with another Mount Vernon OH poet, the late Walter (Buck) Rine!A CHRISTMAS PSALM
It's heard in the twilight; Angels chime, all around; Heavenly hosts are singing; Jesus; crescendo abounds.
Born to us, with promise; Magi worship Your day; Hallelujah to the King; Unto Thee we hope and pray.
Was Christmas His birthday Or the day He was hidden away, Until Jesus could grow up And take our sin away.
The Present has been wrapped And written in a Book, That precious Jesus is Lord, If I have the faith to look.
There is no greater gift Than the one already given; Holy Jesus Christ, our Lord, Welcoming us into Heaven.
