Signed, T. FairyA Poem by Christina May ShanabergWritten for my oldest daughter, Charisma Suzanne (Shanaberg) Sullivan, on October 18, 1987; the day she lost her first tooth!SIGNED, T. FAIRY
My Dear Chari,
I am the tooth fairy; You've lost your first tooth; The first sign of passing youth; I know how much it means to you And I'll bet you wonder how I knew; Well, I've been watching you grow And, as you slept, I peeked under your pillow; It seems like only yesterday, You were a toothless little baby; Now, you are a sweet young lady And, at last, you needed me To leave you a reminder of your joy That you may use to buy a special toy; Don't be sad that you did not see me, Because fairies can only live if they are free; Be happy knowing I give you my love, My precious little dove.
