In VisionsA Poem by Christina May ShanabergIN VISIONS
In visions, we dream about tomorrow, Escaping from yesterday's sorrow; Our thoughts are of the future, Where past experiences are mature; In visions, the road is paved where we walk With each mistake becoming a building block; To what we knew before, We can only add much more; In visions, today is far behind, But its pain lives on in the mind; We can not look very far down, When we are standing on solid ground; In visions, we are as we desire; Visions, the goals that beckon us ever higher. © 2010 Christina May ShanabergReviews
