Elberts Eyes

Elberts Eyes

A Poem by Christie Rose Pratt
"

A poem about my sweet husbands eyes and the way they make me feel at times.

"

Gray as steele and full of disdain

his eyes burned into mine with such restrain

like pools of hot mercury falling like rain.

The passion coming from his stare envelops me

pulling me down into thier loving silver sea.

I try hard to fight it at first

Until I let the overwhelming love quench my thrist..

I am in love with the hot burning passion in those eyes

without it my poor heart will die...............
