The MusicA Poem by Anne’sRants
I forgot the music;
the way it bubbled out of me, desperate for escape. The way it ripped across my soul into my fingers and away. The way it lifted me on feathered wings, and carried me in its wake. I forgot the music. The way she comforted me in my grief and cradled me; safe. At the end of the day, when words have failed and thoughts have fled, there is always the music.
