Do you know who I am?
How long does it take, to learn?

The rumour mill, always busy
The one-sided story
The lies that you choose to believe

Does that rumour sound like me?
Does that story seem in character?
Did that lie seem something I’d say?

You don’t know who I am.
You’ve had years to know the truth
You choose to believe whatever suits

This is not about taking sides.
All I’m saying is, you don’t know me.
