DawnA Poem by Christian N. C.
Day breaks, the horizon brightens, slowly
With each passing minute, the Earth warms I lie asleep in peace, Oh so lowly The Sun awakens life, like passing storms. Yesterday, I was a prisoner, of my mind Today, Dawn dictates a new day Yesterday, I was forced to only fly blind Today, Dawn commands "There shall be no grey!" Dawn says "Today you have a fresh start. Yesterday your mind was silent, today listen to your heart." © 2015 Christian N. C.Featured Review
