SolitudeA Poem by Christian N. C.
I sit in my room at night.
My oldest friend greets me at twilight. He sits and stares, not making a sound For no one knows, He has me bound. I dare not speak, for He would leave. I dare not cry, for He would breathe. If He departs, Demons fill my dreams If I cry, He taunts me with screams. I cannot win, if I succeed He flees When He leaves, Depression enters with the breeze. © 2015 Christian N. C.Featured Review
