Plant the seedA Poem by Christian Adriaensen
Someone once told me that I had a choice
between what you win or what you lose. But lately I'm going mad with all the nasty noise, makes me wanna breakout and go footloose. Life's a vicious race to maturity, driven by ambiguous love, fainting of ectasy. But even though it's gonna poison my heart I'll keep trying till my elusive dreams fall apart. It seems that sometimes there's no way of turning. Like the violent sea on the tide. Maybe it's a pure way of living and learning, It breaks all sense for me to hide. To hide myself for the love that rises when you're so close to me. Your beauty shining as if you were queen Isis, posing on your golden throne so gracefully. I imagine myself to be the one you always missed, realizing that even in your arms I'll never get it right. Who am I kidding, I'm far of being on your list, That's why I keep avoiding all clues and fade into the night. Maybe, one day, underneath the pressure of it all, while shadows trace my fears across the floor and the paint is peeling off my protective wall you will be waiting at the other side of heaven's door. That day I'll wonder what I'm doing in a room like this, while all we have to do is plant the seed. So we can seal our forbidden love with a kiss and concede you and me together is all we need. © 2011 Christian AdriaensenReviews
