H e a r t B r e a k M a nA Poem by Christian Adriaensen
"I never thought I'd be your heartbreakman,
but girl you've changed a lot. I always nourished you with both my hands, but you forgot what is and what is not. Now I just straggle through the hallways, just to skim every dark room. I realize you left me in an inscrutable maze. Girl ... you left me in the center of gloom! Wrongfully convicted of a crime. Sentenced to life without you by my side, the most painful punishment of all time. Dying in the shadows of your crying light." © 2011 Christian Adriaensen |
