A Poem by Christian Adriaensen

"I never thought I'd be your heartbreakman,
but girl you've changed a lot.
I always nourished you with both my hands,
but you forgot what is and what is not.

Now I just straggle through the hallways,
just to skim every dark room.
I realize you  left me in an inscrutable maze.
Girl ... you left me in the center of gloom!

Wrongfully convicted of a crime.
Sentenced to life without you by my side,
the most painful punishment of all time.
Dying in the shadows of your crying light."

After reading this over once more, I finally caught the hidden message and it nearly changed the entire mood of the piece. Beautifully done! It's another great poem.
