Sould'Out

Sould'Out

A Poem by Christian Adriaensen

Is life a choice between true and fake,
or is finding love always so difficult to make?
Am I wasting my time with hate and regret,
and did I miss every newborn day's sunset?

'cause...

"I wished for something beautiful,
and I searched for something new.
And I wished for something ravishing,
but I just left out deeply blue."

I tried to fly free again,
cause love is like a bird.
But I've been flying with broking wings
and ended up in gutter's dirt.

Through deep sunken eyes
I keep following the fading light.
Once a guidance without lies,
today just treacherous plight.

Tomorrow another chance hello?
Another last goodbye?
Doesn't seem I care too much
so why give it another try?

'cause...

"I wished for something beautiful,
and I searched for something new.
And I wished for something ravishing,
but I just left out deeply blue."
