For whatever reason sometimes things just don't work out. You can put your heart and soul into a relationship and poof it's gone. At least that's the feeling I got from reading this. You try to bring it back but it's gone and the longing is still there; along with the questions of why it didn't work that can torture you. Great job.

Your words have underlining sentimental effect, imo, explains what it means
to remember someone very close but unable to communicate what feelings surface
to that specific indivisual, but in thought, in dreams, but knowing they will
always remain special and will never be forgotten until perhaps met again,
Christel, this is beautiful and has heartwrenching effect, draws the reader
to ponder what it means to miss those who've come and gone in life,
were able to leave an endearing impression that will remain their legacy.
