repentance

repentance

A Poem by Christel Grady

hips swingin'

singin' about

life and loss

and love and

beltin' it out

like Janis

or Jimi

or Plant

beggin' for

forgiveness

under urban

night lights

pines on

the skyline

the world streams

past waiting

for no one

Oh, what a relief, by the title I was worried this was going to be about some heavy moral issue. . . I liked the swing of this. That breezy, drinkin', singin', relaxin' feel of it.

Bumpin and jammin, sounds like my kind of fun, and most people who know how
to have a great time, livin life and lettin it be, the colorfulness speaks
with a sense of happiness only understood by those who take life throes as a
grain of salt. taking the moment by the hand, and throwing passion to the wind,
I loved this poem, you express clarity with consistancy with understanding.

Now aint that the truth! and aint that what it's all about, Janis. Jimi, (don't forget Marshal Tucker!) But seriously truth and love of life are all

This is awesome and makes me long for the days of real bands jamming on stage... what a high energy tribute to when music was loud and proud.

kashmir is one of the few songs I like by Zep, yes I am hanging my head in shame...so sorry. But I actually REALLY like the song - this is a great little trib to it...and to that thing we do when we are alone....singing....as the world spins by.

ok, you know, when you mention 'Kashmir" the words fit the tempo of that song perfectly. The poem is a wonderful spill of thought.

Love this poem. I can see the Zep in it, but before you said that, I was thinking country. The swing in the natural rhythm of the words make me think of one of those amazing, two step, beer drinking kinda country songs. I love it.
