give 'em the boot
A Poem by
Christel Grady
i wish
i could squish
your mind under my
thick - soled
boot - tramping
leather-stomping
splatter your scattered
thoughts across
the 2 am fuzzy screen
screaming
"you thought you knew me"

"These boots were made for walking,
And thats just what they'll do.
And one of these days these boots are
gonna walk all over you."
(come on boots)
Nice little diddy, eh? Your piece remindsof this. And its funny too. I see a mad kitten face. Standing fur.

Wow, sincerely took my breath, and caused my heart to skip a beat just the
way it would, if I was watching such an event unfold,
poetry in motion, your words define the term in so many excellent ways.
inspiration like you know how to take and stand and deliver,
representing the future, very Nicely written poem Christel

This just confirms that short pieces have just as much to offer as long ones.

Ha Ha hell yeah, that is telling them!
Loved the vivid descriptions of one single boot, emphasizing the full impact of our wrath
Very enjoyable piece, written in a very clever humorous way

Hahaha, I thought this was a pretty funny write. Sorry if you're offended, but I mean it in a good way. I thought of, "You're so cute I could kill you," while reading this. This is very intertaining, and I thought you explained being love sick quick and fast. Awesome write, thanks for entering my contest! =D

Funny! Have I ever imagined certain people under my boot heels! I try-try-try to work it out in the gym, the yard, but ... Nice work!
