Wash Away

Wash Away

A Poem by Christina Braceros

Wash away

every tear and pain

pour the bleach

don't allow me to think

it never happened

nightmare of a dream

So wash away

every memory

let it leak out

a puddle of color

of what had been

confused and fucked up feelings

give me a drug

some morphine

knock me unconcious

as long as I'm no longer haunted

of what lingers day by day

brought on pain

and another f*****g heartache

So I'll scrub day and night

get the hell outta my sight

to wash away

every single f*****g thing
