Adrenaline

Adrenaline

A Poem by Christina Braceros

numbs the pain

fear coursing through my veins

i can't hear what you say

addicted to what doesnt make sense

as my body doesn't tense

let it slip away

adrenaline

in my blood

there is no pain

no here or there

do i exsist in this dream

enticed by the drug

i produce

i'm addicted to the fear

a high that can't complain

i forgot the pain
