Another day has ended

Another day has ended, another day alone.
My life goes on without my heart;
The insubstantial beating echoes’ in my chest
Its ghostly Spector haunts my brest
A silent cry aloud
I miss my heart, my fragile heart,
Once was strong and proud
Now nothing more than shadow
Dead and gone to ground.
Waiting for a maiden to give it life again
To dare it live, to dare it love
To risk its fate again
To make it bold to take the chance
Of happiness over pain
