Entropy

Entropy

A Poem by Christopher Kneipp
"

Entropy is the term for the way everything tries to return to its simplest state. (Machines break down, wood rots, iron rusts, etc.) This poem is relatively self explanatory. It's an observation on the nature of our impact on each other and our surround

"

Sometimes I wonder what the world would be like,

If we knew each others mind,

If everyone saw the things that I have seen

Would we still be so unkind

Can't see a future where we live like we do

Taking far more than we give

By measuring joy with the things we have

And not just how well we live

Has the world gone mad,

Won't forget what we had

When there's nothing left to take,

'Cause I know for sure

That our fatal flaw

Is to wait till it's too late

I like how the poem had a consistent flow and meter that made the reading of it joyous. I think you could have squeezed more here and brought it full circle, but that is just a thought as that is your artistic decision.

um or that we give up thinking that it is too late..this poem made me think on that how we just let all that is messed up keep us from that which is still good.
