ck's Revenge
As I held Christian by the throat I remembered everything Rose had been through. Now she lay lifeless on the ground her breath coming in shallow gasps, the bullet wound bleeding uncontrollably. I couldn't stand to see the life spill out of her but I couldn't let go. "Any last words you b*****d?" I was hoping his last words would be sorry. Atleast then I wouldn't have to kill him, just turn him in. "I'll see ya in hell kid!" He left me no choose. I pulled the trigger on the gun i'd taken from him. In a matter of 2 seconds the low life had slunk to the ground in a mess of blood and beer. "R-Rick. You killed him." Her words where unaudible, and it sounded like she was gargling her own blood. Thats when I relized that she was.
"Hold on Rose Ill get you too the hospital! Just hold on Rose!" "No Rick. I can't hold on any longer. It's time for me too go. I love you. Your my one love. Tell Luke I love him." "No. No! Rosemary! Stay with me! Please. Please stay with me..." My words came out like a whisper and they where choked with tears. I rested my head on her stomach and watched as she took her last breath. She was gone. Gone. I began to cry softly and couldn't stop. I would miss her that was for sure. It was then did I hear a low cry. I had totally forgotten about Luke. Luke was the only thing I had left of Rosemary. "Hey buddy. You miss your Mama too?" I held the little bundle close to my chest and cried into his hair. I knew he was all I had left. But I also knew that he was my one love.
*2 Years Later***
As I looked down at my beautiful fiance, her face covered in sweat and her body loose with exhaustion I leaned over and picked up the newborn baby. Rosemary Jessica. Her half-brother was sitting excitingly bouncing up and down on the hospitals green leather couch waiting to see his sister for the first time. "Be careful Luke she is very tiny." "Yes Daddy" Luke took the baby gently in his tiny two year old hands. "Daddy where is MY mommy?" The question came as no surprise and I settled down too tell my son about my one true love.
