You'll Never Know

A poem about a love never obtained

I've seen you in almost every dream, in every scene

In the woods or on the beach nowhere was out of reach.

The fantasy was always the same but no moment with you was ever tame

There's no words to describe the love I feel when I look into your eyes

And even if you never feel the same way I want to thank you.

For giving me something that no other has ever given me before.

I had my chance and I was stupid to think I had all the time in the world

So here I stand emotions swirled.

Looking deep at what I've lost. 

Pure perfection and attraction stands before me.

Only, someone else holds the key.

They have your heart, while mine is slowly being torn apart.

And as I watch from afar I can see your happiness

You no longer hold on to your tender kiss.

So they tears that fill my eyes will have to be my own therapy.

My love for you goes beyond all I can say

And even though for you my heart will always glow.

The tragedy is...
