depression

depression

A Poem by diaryofalostcause

Our scars run deep through our veins
like poison infecting the masses
This poison of depression killing us off one by one
The pills running through our veins turning us off to the world
The echo of what we once were are lost
Our old memories gone forever
We are safe now in this jail cell
Lost forever trapped inside our minds
We never know what's real
This is our lives

Like the best poem I read I a long time
Best thing to write is what you feel and to me
It was like you told the story in front of me

I was on Zoloft for awhile and I felt trapped. This is pretty much what it felt like being trapped in a jail cell with no way out.
