Who Are You?A Poem by Chris38Sometimes the greatest enemy is yourself
Why do you keep haunting me?
I don't even know who you are Are you a ghost from the future or a ghost from the past? You're my shadow in the bright sunlight, you're a sillhouette in the night You're my mirror in the morning and my nightmare at night You know my every thought and anticipate each move I think you want to kill me but your love for me prevents it I reach out to touch you but you're never there I hear your laughter of relief at the dawn and your crying in the night You've touched my heart in so many ways yet you've tasted it's blood © 2011 Chris38Reviews
