DRIFTWOOD, TOILET PAPER AND YOU

DRIFTWOOD, TOILET PAPER AND YOU

A Poem by Chris38
"

Where do some people come from?

"

You drifted in on the tide
The driftwood, the  toilet paper and you
You fell out of the sky
The rain, the frogs and you
You came down from some high plateau
The Yeti, some Yaks and you
They found you in a jungle
A chimpanzee, Tarzan and you
They rescued you from a distant island
Man Friday, some cannibals and you
Who knows where you are really from?
The driftwood, the toilet paper and you

I really like this. It asks a really important question. Where do we all come from, people and everything else on this planet. Overall, I really like the whole poem, its very easy to read and I get a purpose and meaning behind your words right away and the meaning I can ponder, not what the poem is saying.
