THE BLACK HOLE

THE BLACK HOLE

A Poem by Chris38
"

A tale of depression I suppose

"
Deep down here in this black hole
No light penetrates within
No door out of this black hole
No Exit or entrance marked
No one else lives in this black hole
Though many have been here before
No one cares about this black hole
Their just glad that they got out
There's no love within this black hole
Only fear and despair allowed
There's no tomorrow in this black hole
Not sure really about today
There's no future within this black hole
The past though is an unwelcome guest

This poem is flat. Ending every other line with "...black hole" doesn't add to the poem. I don't think you had to keep reminding the reader that you are in a black hole. Wrong "they're" in the seventh last line. I don't know how else to explain this poem; it was just flat. Nothing grand, nothing to get excited about. It was boring and repetative.
