This place you now call home...

This place you now call home...

A Poem by Christopher Paul

Alone in a place so cold
Wandering around for ages
Nothing ever seems to get old
Lost in life's puzzles and mazes

No light appears
Only darkness around
Hope disappears
Not a whisper, not a sound

Fallen in this abyss
Where nothings what it seems
No one cares you exist
No one bothers if you scream

But its funny, you kinda like it here
This place you know,
You can feel it in your bone
You're safe here
This place you now call home...

despondent stockholm syndrome? There is comfort in knowing that which youve come to understand intimately. Yet its an ironic comfort since it can also be a condition that causes pain. A truthful good write.
