Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by The Mad Hatter
"

We're all afraid of the darkness every now and then.

"

In times of darkness;
in times of bad,
do not be worried;
do not be sad.
If you feel tears begin to shed,
look inside yourself;
think of what I said.
“I will always be with you;
I will always be there;
remember, I will always care.
With you, my love will forever be shared;
so of the darkness
do not be scared.”

Author's Note

The Mad Hatter
It's only a short poem, I know, but it was meant to be.

wonderful. The last two lines make the poem :)

This is very good. Not every poem has to have fifty lines to be powerfull. I think its short direct and very clever. Great job.

Sometimes beauty is in brevity. This is a nice, short piece. It has a nice "feel" and flow to it. I think the line "With you, my love will forever be shared;" is a bit long and breaks up the nice flow you have going; it might better serve the poem (as a whole) as two separate lines.
