They Say

They Say

A Poem by James Kay

No, I don't think people are out to get me. That's ridiculous.

The reality is far more frightening:

I'm afraid that I'm out to get everybody else.

For everything they've done.

And everything they haven't.

They say life's not about making the right decisions every time.

It's about what you do with the outcome of the bad decisions, the mistakes, and what you learn from them.

Well I can't f*****g do that now, can I?

It's far too late for that.
