He lied

He lied

A Poem by MKB101499
"

Icouldnt think of a name so its really stupid, just read the flipping poem..

"

He talks,

I listen.

He cries,

I soothe him.

He screams,

I help him.

Yet,

He leaves me.

Now,

I talk,

He does his best to ignore it.

I cry,

He says it wasnt his fault.

I scream,

He walks away.

MKB1011499,

We are in the same state. I live in Elmira. Practically neighbors.

Well, I like this flipping poem. Short, To the point and I believe it.

Would you consider putting the first stanzas in past tense?

He talked,
I listened.

He cried,
I soothed him.

He screamed,
I helped him.

Then he leaves me.

Now,

I talk,
He ignors me.

I cry,
He's faultless.

I scream,
He runs away.

Now what?

Just an idea for you might consider. Not a criticism.

Thanks for sharing this interesting poem.

Sincerely, Cecil
