Pain and Regret

Pain and Regret

A Poem by MKB101499

Walking down a lonely road,

filled with pain and regret,

of things I have,

and haven't done.

As the once beautiful cobblestone,

changes into dirt and broken pavement,

I see something beautiful.

Out of the corner of my eye,

I see a brilliant butterfly fly through,

and it gave hope to myself.

That things will get better,

and turn good.

That butterfly was you.
