Daddy vs. His Little GirlA Poem by Gionelly KissI had a fight with someone. Our personalities always clash and I'm tired of it.The mask of defiance drapes over the windows to my heart, Wherein truly lies a volcano of anger and blood and pain;
Such ignorant hatred--the home from which I wish to depart-- Tries to disolve the acid that sizzles upon waves of red, falling as rain;
As the avalanche crumbles, I find shelter towards which I always dart, As the smoldering explodes out onto lines, leaving a sheen film of insane...
The meteorites crash and I fold over in terror Succumbing completely to my fears I realize in vain: There is no place like home.
The mask of tranquility and ignorance and bliss, such beautiful stain glass Shatter into shards that pierce the source of all feeling and question the reason: Why? © 2010 Gionelly KissAuthor's Note
