Make a Wish Upon a Star

Make a Wish Upon a Star

A Poem by Gionelly Kiss
"

Naive people make a wish upon a star and get trapped by their desires. Naive people blindly follow the lies of others in search of hope.

"

With the joy of a pronounced desire comes

When fulfilled the saving of a nation;

The pinning down of the wings of Freedom

Come forth from thy bottomless holes: Desperation

That produces in fury haste lovely sensation, that in addition

With the joy of a pronounced desire comes.

Cannot see you a façade of intentions"

Distorting their Vision, their Future’s proportions:

The pinning down the wings of Freedom

From above a falling star fickly sprinkles down, in fact,

A wishing star with a wicked note in its underlying contract:

“With the joy of a pronounced desire comes

The pinning down of the wings of Freedom.”
