I love, love, love fall. It's my favorite season and you capture it here. I find it funny how I use fall as a male in my poetry ans summer as the female. I have on issue with this haiku the first line is six syllables and it's suppose to be five. I'm an avid haiku writer and notice syllables quickly. =) Other then that wonder write. Check out some of my haiku and "The Fall of Summer."
Love the imagery. You've made me see the leaves as more than what they are. This poem is gentle and simply brilliant. Though it's short, it does leave an impression.
What grade were you in when you had to do this assignment? And you know what? This one actually makes sense to me, when I read other people's haiku's I don't necessarily understand them, and that's why I keep mine fairly simple. Oh and although I think this haiku is great, normally you're supposed to have five syllables for your first line, but, it's alright, it's still awesome!
