Once

A poem for sisters...no this is more directed towards a certain ex-friend...who I once called my sister.

You once called 

Yourself my sister

But now I hate 

Your very face

 

When I hear 

Your voice

It drives me insane

 

Once upon a time

I would of died

If it meant that 

You got to live your life

But now I want 

To spit on your grave

 

Just once 

I wish you would have

Asked me how I felt 

About something 

Before you took it away

I can feel the pain in your words. Sisters that are sisters, not becasue they are born to be, but because they choose to be, hold a very special bond. When that bond is broken, it is devestating. This is something I can relate to. I hope your heart heals soon - or with time you can forgive.

My heart has healed actually, but thank you! I wrote this some time ago and with help from others, I managed to work things out with the friend that I wrote this for. Perhaps I should write a sequel to this poem :)

I don't have any sisters, but I can feel your pain. Siblings can be very frustrating to deal with at times, but we still love them in the end. This poem greatly portrays those feelings of hurt when that trust is broken, well done.

Just a small thing that I would like to point out, it should be "would have" instead of "would of."

Nonetheless, keep up the amazing work!
