untitledA Poem by ChocoA stringent stain on a silk heart She doesnt remember where the trail of tears starts She clutches tight and holds her daughter searching for a remnant of light of tomorrow once soft as silk now stone and cold only a shell of what she withholds strength not for herself but the one she holds with stern determination never to fold a Stranger comes and take her hand He converses her and learns her plans she forgets her fears and walks with Him They come to a place where the rain ends He says I'll take you to a place where the pain ends just open up your heart and let Me in when you thought you saw the end; it was the end only it was the end of your hurt, today is a new begaining © 2008 ChocoFeatured Review
