In-School Suspension.

In-School Suspension.

A Story by Chloe Madison Taylor.
"

Description? You want a description. Nothingness. That's In-School Suspension.

"

Author: I.M. Trapped

Time: Today. All Day.

Location: In this room. In this chair.

I don't know anything. I don't know anything because I'm younger than you and you don't know s**t cause they've been brainwashing you longer so who's to say who knows a single thing, ever?

F**k off.

I've never been so pissed off by a blank wall or so ready to set a building on fire.

I'll take my life without health insurance or money, crouched over a dirty toilet, scrounging for bits of weed off my stained carpet over your life of misery anyday.

Holden Caulfield had it right. I'm not gonna study to learn to forget to work to someday be able to own a Cadillac.

Reminds me of Tom Waits' "I don't wanna grow up."

I agree entirely. Love the looseness of it too, how it just flows like a stream of bitter consciousness, which is probably the only thing school has caused me to experience for a while. Good write.

I've been expelled from the entire school board, so I definitely know what you mean by being more than ready to set fire to a building.

Good ol Holden. I couldn't agree more.
I love The Catcher in the Rye.

This is a great write. In-school suspension is bullshit.
You wrote this too beautifully for it to be about in-schools.
Great write!
